The style of the house is a gambrel front Colonial Revival, yet there are elements of the still-popular Queen Anne style such as the cutaway bays.  So much of the original character remains in this house, held by the same family since 1944.  Inside you will find original light fixtures and turn switches, cast iron sinks and bathtubs, and a coal burning fireplace still with the cover and coal basket inside.  Original hardwood floors are throughout, and transoms and sidelights are found on many of the exterior doors.  Elaborate mantels beautifully frame the classic 1x6 mottled tile surrounds.  The majority of the downstairs has tongue and groove wainscoting which stretches up the closed string staircase with an unpainted newel post with egg and dart molding.  Picture rail molding adorns almost every room and all of the windows are original with fantastic wavy glass.  The upstairs bathroom is original with cast iron tub and sink, and toilet with the raised tank.  Glass towel bars, individual hot and cold faucets, and pull chain sconces are lovely touches that we are so glad to see still there.  The front bedroom upstairs even has it's own sink!  The kitchen boasts a cast iron sink as well, with fantastic built-in cabinets and shelves in the original butler's pantry.  The downstairs ensuite bedroom was created by enclosing a once wraparound porch.  An enclosed porch downstairs was once used as a workshop, while the sleeping porch upstairs is original with the screens and transom windows still intact!

Urgent Fundraising Needs

Warehouse Roof

PRM must vacate our current Salvage Store location on Falls Road, as the building is slated for demolition.   We have been gifted a 20,000 sqft tobacco warehouse which will be the new site for our store.  While this is very welcome news, the warehouse desperately needs a new roof.
